As a followup to yesterday's post on Scotchman's 44oz fountain drinks this just in from Krystal Adventure roving reporter, my mother:The Worsley owner lives in Elizabethtown and is a close friend of Melrose."Melrose" is my aunt. This leaves me with only one thought: Can I work family connections to go visit and see if he has a drink fountain in his house with 44oz cups at the ready? If I owned a company like that, you know I'd have an exact replica of the store set up in my living room. What could be better than coming home from a tough day at the office, and picking up some Moon Pies, or Combos and a selection of candy on your way through the living room? Better yet, just turn your house into a working replica of a Scotchman store. Having your own gas pumps in the front yard, and a car wash in the back yard would certainly solve a lot of problems! You'd have an endless supply of frozen, microwaveable food for dinner and aisle after aisle of delicious snacks. I've always dreamed of having a refrigerator with an all glass door. That way you don't let all the cold air out while you stand there deciding what you want to eat. Of course with such a super cool house, you'd have to constantly be chasing off the neighborhood kids trying to skateboard in your front lawn. |
The story of how I got into the Krystal Lover's Hall of Fame.
