Now THAT is a Krystal!
One of the things that makes Krystals so special and unique is their size: roughly 2.5"-3" square. Other burger joints are currently trying to outdo each other in the race to the biggest burger. This is the current record holder for the biggest burger: So yesterday as I am driving home from work, I happen to look up.  This does bring up an interesting point though. With portion sizes going through the roof it is harder for people who are watching what they eat to go out. Try going to BK and ordering half a Whopper. Krystal, however, has 'portion control' built right in. Watching what you eat? Don't get 4 Krystals, get 3. No one will look at you funny or laugh at you. For those who really want to go healthy, go for the Chiks or even the salad. You can even replace your fries with Chicken Bites or a side Salad. For those who DO want something big, the BA Burger is a good choice. The Double BA with Bacon is an absolute monster of a burger. But it is still dwarfed by the Billboard Krystal above. Lunch time is just around the corner, and so is a 14' tall Krystal. Now, if I could only find a way to climb up there with a bucket of Ketsup...  |
