Combo #2
For those that don't know, the Combo #2 is the ultimate meal for indecisive diners at Krystal. If you ever go to krystal and look up at the menu and simply can't decide, you need the #2 Combo: pick four items, plus fries and a drink. Today I tried to make the longest receipt for a single order in Krystal History:![]()
The reason I have dubbed this post a #2 combo is simply that I have lots of smaller posts and I am just going to put all the good parts together to make one full sized post. Sort of cleaning off the to do list before the weekend hits. The mystery Jason Sighting I posted about yesterday has been claimed by Tiffany. She posted a comment to yesterday's post. Those getting this via email are missing out on posting and reading comments. Just look at the bottom of each post online and you can see if there's been any, and you can also post your own. I will update the Where's Jason? page later tonight. Speaking of Tiffany and the folks at Krystal, if you have been keeping up with their blog krystal-lover.blogspot.com you have seen them posting up good stuff and teasing us a bit with previews of coming tastes and attractions (The onion petals sound good, but we're all waiting for the seasonal favorite: Vidalia Onion rings!) Today's post to krystal-lover blog mentions 'Thursday Thirteen' which is apparently some online trendy bloggy thing to do. (Those who know me know I am far from trendy so forgive my ignorance). For Thursday Thirteen, people post lists of 13 things, much like David Letterman's famous Top 10 Lists. As I read the Krystal list I was very excited. When you hop over there, I am sure you'll see why. Rather than a line by line analysis, I'll just incorporate some of their ideas into future Krystal trips and blog posts. I can't wait to see if they'll add Bacon or Cheese to a lemon ice box pie! And I had an idea for the KLT (Krystal-Lettuce-Tomato) a long time ago, but since I don't eat tomatoes, I haven't followed up on it. I will now! And give credit back to Tiffany, Jennifer and Kenny for the ideas (as they gave me credit for some of theirs!) So in the spirit of this Thursday Thirteen, and this fantastic website linked from the krystal-lovers blog: Fast Food Fever I present to you my 'Thursday Thirteen' (People with a weak stomach may wish to stop at #7) Thirteen Things Jason has put on a Krystal (and eaten)
