Toys, toys, toys!

OK, so I didn't follow up as soon as I had planned. I took the opportunity yesterday to head up to viit with friends for Memorial Day. A dip in the pool and some tasty ribs, and all is right in the world once again. But as promised here are the remainder of the Krystal Toys in my collection. Some of the pictures below I stol from this website because their pictures show items out of the bag while the majority of mine are still in the bag. Of course I desperately want to take them out of the bag to play with them, but after having seen the prices people pay for "MIB" (mint in box) Star Wars toy and knowing the huge collection my brother and I have stashed at my parents house, I wish I could go back in time and take them away from myself. I'd be filthy rich! Obviously I have a couple of duplicates. These appear to be from 1995. The label in the bags says: Krystal kids Explorer Meal. Copyright 1995. All characters created for the Krystal Company by InterNatural Designs, Inc (c) Mello Smello(r) whatever Mello Smello is?! My question is: I understand the Singing fries, Drink on the sax, Krystal on guitar, and the Pup in drums. But I fail to understand the dog on the keyboard. Perhaps they simply couldn't figure out how to work a corn pup in so they subbed in an actual pup? I'm confused. These are labeled as "Funky Food" (Crazy Collectible Krystal Characters) (c)1999 by Discovery Characters. Here's the confusing thing on these. The "Squirting Soda" is neat. The "Chik Rolling Roadster" really rolls. The "Krystal Floating Boat" floats (I assume) but what exactly does the "Fry Train" do? It doesn't roll, it just sits there. And where are those lovable pups? My last batch, the Krystal Kruisers "Funny food free wheelers!" Including: Tommy Tow-Truck, Krystal Kamper, Fireman Fry Guy, and Surfin Cola-Dude. All of these roll, but again we're missing some pups. While my toy collection is pretty nice, it is not yet complete. The website above has a picture for one last set. The Krystal Sports figures:I am still keeping my eye out for them, but it's been slim pickins. The lady who nabbed me the 2nd Stuffed Krystal says she hasn't ever seen the Sports Figures set, but she'll keep looking. If you happen to run across a set let me know! And there you have it. My Krystal Toy Kollection. Not complete but still plenty of fun! At least to the kid in me.
