I love Krystal Thursday

This morning as I woke up I really only had one thing on my mind: It's Krystal Thursday, and Krystal has a new combo meal. I saw it last week when I bought my Saucy Chiks. It's the new Cheese Lover Combo (#5 on the menu). I also noted last week that it's a big one: five Cheese Krystals, Chili Cheese Fries, and a Medium Drink. With this feast in mind, I took it easy all day today. No breakfast. Chicken teriyaki for lunch. (As we all know if you eat Chinese, you're hungry again in an hour or two.) So for dinner it was straight to Krystal.
With thoughts of chili and cheese all day long I knew it would be a good day. But you can never underestimate the power of a Krystal, let alone a Cheese Krystal. While teaching my morning FOD (Foreign Object Damage) and DOP (Dropped Object Prevention) class several of the examples we use in class and the stories we regularly hear will terrify you and make you immediately move as far away from any Airport or Airbase on Earth. But I have no fear. Krystal and Cheesy deliciousness await!
As I pull in to krystal I am greeting by little Vanessa, the Yellow Shirt customer service Queen. Sonja is running the grill and we discuss the new saucy chiks. It seems the Buffalo are most popular followed closely by the BBQ. But I'm not interested in Chiks tonight. (OK that didn't sound quite right, did it?)
I tell Vanessa I want the new Cheese Lover's combo. I've been dreaming about it all day and I am ready. A few moments later and I have both hands full of hot steamy goodness.

Let me give this word of caution. If you are thinking of getting the Cheese Lover's Combo you should bring a few things with you: plenty of napkins, a fork, and a big appetite. It's a LOT of food for sure. Usually when I take my "Combo Meal" pictures I load them up on a tray. If you look back at old posts you'll see. This time the meal wouldn't fit on the tray. It's a BIG meal! Sadly, 2 Cheese Krystals made it out alive. For now!
But that's not all. While at Krystal I again ran into my friend Michael, the regional manager. This is about the 2nd time in three weeks I have run into him at Krystal. Of course I got to see Vanessa and Sonja again. Always fun. Upon arriving home I got some good news in the mail, too, but sadly I can't share that new with you just yet.
I also got word from Ron at BuffaloFoods.com that if he gets enough requests for Cronfelt's Loganberry Syrup he'll start offering it. (Hint Hint) They used to carry Aunt Rosie's Syrup and still carry Rosie's in a can. Double Yummy!
So as we wind our way into the long weekend, things are looking bright and sunny around here. I suspect this weekend I'll be able to make it for a Scrambler one morning. I've missed those lately. But with all this Krystal talk I am getting hungry again. Now where did I leave those last 2 Cheese Krystals??! Krystal Lovers get more in the sack!.
