I Saw Nassau!
So yesterday I told you today's Krystal Kruise recap would be Wednesday and include the formal dinner. That wasn't exactly true. The formal dinner was on Tuesday, and a five day cruise usually only has one formal dinner. The problem is, I needed to hold off the formal dinner to spread out my "Krystal Konnections." Click here to see what I wore for formal dinner. Pay close attention to the tie! After formal dinner we changed into normal clothes and rushed off to see the comedian on board. When we returned to our room we found a note that our morning Nassau excursion to play with the stingrays had been "cancelled due to lack or participation." The notice also told us the same excursion running in the afternoon was open. We figured we'd move to that one in the morning and were off on our merry way. The next morning we dressed to go see Nassau and off we went to reserve the afternoon stingray excursion. Sadly, it had been cancelled too, so panic set in. Luckily, Tammy at the excursion desk told us there was a great rainbow reef snorkeling excursion which sounded good. The only problem? It was leaving in 30 minutes. So off we rush to change into swim/snorkel gear and then off the ship. What a way to start the day. But once we got to the reef it was all worth it. ![]() After playing with the local sea life we went back to the ship and changed clothes, did a little shopping in Nassau, and then made our way over to Atlantis on paradise island. As the name suggests, this is the playground of the ultra rich and famous. Us mere mortals are allowed to come visit, though. ![]() Atlantis is that big monster in the middle of the picture ![]() ![]() But it's well past my bed time. My tummy's not especially happy with me about my decision to participate in the Square Off tonight. So it is time to wrap this up. Tomorrow will be my Thursday recap, and of course you KNOW there will be some Krystal Fun in there! What's Thursday without something small, square, and delicious? Well it's a big let down. That's what it is! ![]() |
