Long Day With A Krystal Nightcap
| First off, tonight's Krystal selection I went with the latest combo meal, seen on Krystal-Lovers The "Extreme Cheese Combo." The combo consists of: 1 Cheese Krystal, 1 Double Cheese Krystal, and 1 Bacon Cheese Krystal (plus fries and a drink). I chose to eat mine in the same order suggested by Kenny and Tiffany, however for different reasons. First goes the Cheese Krystal. I consider this the "stretching and warm up" phase. As well all know you should always warm up to prevent injury, and that double cheese can hurt you if you're not careful. After the regular cheese, I go for the double cheese. Since you are properly warmed up, you can now handle the super cheesy super sized double. I then close with the Bacon Cheese. Like the greatest movies you've ever seen, the Bacon Cheese leaves you happy, yet wanting more. It's a perfect little trio. I took one of my cups to Krystal to show them what to watch for. They haven't seen any of my cups yet, but they're eyeball deep in Mrs. Raleigh's cup (#38) and hers hit stores the same time as mine. They said they'll keep their eyes open. They said they haven't seen any of my boxes lately, but I did get one on July 3rd, so I know they have em. I also told them I was starting my Tues/Thu night classes and wouldn't be stopping in on Thursdays til late. Her reply was "We're here til 1AM." Well obviously I will be there before 1AM, however I felt a sharp pain in my chest at being reminded that Krystal does actually close on Thursday nights. (boo hoo) If you've been reading Krystal-Lovers you've read the story about the Krystal Burger Balloon being stolen outside their Denton, TX store that just opened. They have offered a sackful a week for a year for information leading to it's return. For the record, I have never been to Denton, Texas and I'm not even sure where it is. Every item in my collection of rare, obscure, and unique Krystal gear was acquired through legal channels. It's sad that we live in a world where people actually have to say things like that. Lastly, I know this post is later than my usual time. Well tonight was the "adjunct orientation" for my class that starts next Tuesday. So for the next 10-11 weeks, I'll be getting home around this time. I may be able to post from work during the day, but when it gets close to mid terms and finals, you may have to hang tight for a few days. Sadly, my job comes first. (But Krystals comes a close second!) As I said, though, it has been a very long day, and I'm pooped! So I will wish you all the best and call it a night. Cheese, Love, and Burgers! -Krystal Kid  |
