Another Cup sighting!
| Toby emailed me to say he'd located my cup in Conyers. You may remember Toby from earlier as he located my boxes while driving through Macon with Bonny. I think Toby's email sums it all up very nicely: Hey Jason, I was off work today so Bradley and I went out for lunch. Bradley picked so he wanted to go to you guessed it KRYSTAL. I guess since it was Thursday it was an appropriate place to eat. Anyway we got three of you boxes, one with some chick named #38 (I didn't catch the name but she was from GA), two boxes that where just plain and of course my six boxes all said special (they must really know me well there!). Also I got one of your cups. Bradley quickly ate one of his burgers; I took the box to the counter and asked did they have your cups. The counter help said yes they had just opened a sleeve. I asked could I buy a cup; he gave me one for free. Handing me the cup he asked why I wanted it, I replied well I know that guy, he said "". Did you catch that "You mean he is a real person". This leads me to one of two conclusions. A) You have left the relm of the everyday and entered into mythic/legendary territory like Bigfoot, or Hercules or some such legendary person who everybody knows about but doesn't think could possibly be a real person or B) there are idiots at the Conyers Krystal store. Either way I got a cup. So now, for the record, Toby has found my boxes in 2 different places, plus also located my cup. Toby is the uber-sleuth. If you're having trouble finding boxes or cups, just follow Toby! Inductee #38 is a Mrs. Raleigh from Columbus, GA. I got one of her cups yesterday as well. I suspect what's happening is they're slowly rolling out cups one or two at a time. And my time (and Mrs. Raleigh) has come. So keep your eyes peeled folks! On Toby's hot tip, I wanted to drive to Conyers today (in yet another Krystal Koincidence I took today off). Sadly, I have many errands and appointments to go to today, so a Krystal Run may be out of the question. Although after my last meeting, at 3, I might be able to hit the road.    I know I have several very artsy types out there so here's your chance! Make me a good (and very funny) graphic to place on my maps for Cup sightings. It doesn't have to have the waldo hat, but I can send you my copy if you want. Just keep in mind it has to look good in B&W and shrunk down pretty small.  |
