Short update

I know it's been quiet around here, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything going on. When it comes to Krystal, they're open 24/7 so the fun never really stops!
Actually, I've been having to deal with some offline stuff this week, but should be back to [ab]normal by this weekend.
One small story though, I had Krystals yesterday (Monday) with a Blog reader, Keri. I know. I know. The internet is full of freaks and you gotta be careful. I know this cause I am one of those freaks, though of the fun, lovable, harmless variety. It also helps that I am 6'2" and 245 pounds.
Anyway, Keri e-mailed me about her mother's Krystal story, riding her bike to Krystal as a kid. Keri was hoping to get a signed box for her mother's birthday. Since I got her email right at the same time as I was going to my grandmother's birthday party in NC, I figured it was just another of those wonderful Krystal Koincidences.
We met at the Krystal on Spring St. here in Macon. That's the Krystal I went to during my college days, and it felt good to be back. I of course tried to convince the folks at Krystal to dig and find one of my boxes. Half of em didn't believe it really was me on the box and the other half just laughed. Sadly, none of my boxes were to be found. Luckily for Keri I brought one of my own from my personal stash. Here I am with Keri and her freshly signed Krystal box:
The picture was taken by our cashier. (She was one of the ones laughing about the box.) Krystal crew members are the greatest. They take your order, fix your drink, even deliver your food to your table. And sub for a photographer if you need it. How's that for service?
Take it easy my burger buddies, and to paraphrase Dead Poet's Society: Carpe Krystals! And Carpe some fries and a Coke while you're at it!
I'm A Krystal Lover
