Nancy vs. The Easter Bunny

Hopefully you didn't read the title of this post and come here expecting a recap of some bizarre Holiday themed Ultimate Fighting Championship match. While the Easter Bunny might pack a powerful kick, I think Nancy could take him in a 5 round MMA championship match. The Killer Rabbit from Monty Python (with the sharp pointy teeth!) is a completely different story.
You'll recall from a post last February that I happen to LOVE Cadbury Creme Eggs. The sad truth of it is that you can't buy these outside of Easter. The creative egg-eaters among us know that if you put them in the freezer they are actually quite wonderful and will hold you over until the next Easter season. One suggestion, though, is that you unwrap them prior to freezing them. Peeling the aluminum foil off is hard enough on a "fresh" egg, and when it's frozen solid it's almost impossible. If you have never had the delight of chewing on stray aluminum foil, then you really haven't lived. Your best bet is to take the foil off, then wrap the eggs individually in cling wrap, then into a zip lock bag. Or you can just do it your own way, what do I know?
I make no secret of my love of Creme Eggs. As Easter approaches I occasionally get lost in daydreams chocolate and "creme." I'm not intentionally ignoring you, but if you were covered in chocolate and had a "fondant" creme center, you'd have my undivided attention.
Sadly during my Christmas road trip, I apparently missed Nancy while she was in the states. While the logistics of my 1000+ mile, 4 city adventure was overwhelming at times, Nancy trumped me by hitting 2 different continents in less than 10 days. I suspect my truck will never be up to beating that record.
The other day I got my Christmas present in the mail from Nancy and it's been sitting beside my computer keyboard for the past few days.
I don't often get to see candy from foreign countries. Nancy currently lives in England, the home of Cadbury. Knowing of my bizarre fascination for Cadbury Creme Eggs, Nancy picked up a package of "Dairy Milk with Creme Egg."
The thing I enjoy the most about foreign candy is reading the foreign languages on the labels. This one has such strange words as "Calories" and "Protein" and "Fibre." I'll have to see if I can find an English to American translation on the internet to figure out what the rest of these words are.
But back to the original topic. Nancy scores big time with the Cadbury in January. I doubt we'll see anything out of the Bunny for a few more months. Easter comes earlier this year than it has in ages. One of the Ada programming classes I used to teach we wrote a program once to calculate when Easter is in a given year and trust me, the calculations are NOT pretty. (And if you ever ask me any Ada programming questions I'll beat you to death with my shoe.)
I had pretty much decided that my Christmas present was just too valuable to me to actually eat so it's been sitting beside my keyboard in the computer room. It's Christmas, Easter, Creme Eggs, and Nancy all in one nice little package. You don't give up something like that easily. Nancy has assured me that she can get me more. Perhaps she can even beat the Easter Bunny in a rematch?

So, 15 seconds ago
I ate it
It was good
Bring it on, Bunny!
Nancy 1, Easter Bunny 0
Krystal Lovers get more in the sack!.
